July 7th, in Quito-Ecuador, La Moderna has been rewarded as the “Great Place To Work for Women”. It was nationwide ranked among the ten best companies to work for women. This recognition was given after a detailed examination carried out by all the staff.
We are a great team, due to the equality of genders, we worked together to support our vision, mission. The Ranking was the result of an evaluation by the Great Place to Work® (GPTW) firm, where the gender equality indicators must have at least 90% acceptance and the averages of acceptance of men and women must not exceed a 5% difference. The evaluation considers the gender parity index, the organization’s practices, and the representation of women in leadership positions.
This recognition was covered by EKOS magazine, which is one of the most important publications on ecological development and business leadership in Ecuador. Our school is pleased to receive such important recognition, given by Ms Carmen Gómez, GPTW Executive Director. La Moderna, part of International Schools Partnership, is within an important group of organizations such as DHL, Johnson & Johnson, 3M, Roche, and PWC.
