FIRST INTER-SCHOOL CORRIDOR CONTEST

Various musical performances graced the morning of October 21 in the Auditorium of La Moderna Educational Center, which brought together different school delegations with the purpose of rescuing the musical traditions among the student community, opening the way to the First Intercollegiate Contest of the Pasillo where various educational institutions such as IPAC, Liceo Cristiano, Panamericano, Tejar, Mariscal Sucre, La Moderna, among others, participated.

Ernie Rivas, singer-songwriter from Guayaquil, who obtained a Master's degree in classical singing at the National Academy of Music of Ukraine in 2014, and Bernarda Pazmiño, singer from Guayaquil and Academic Coordinator of Borkis Entertainment, were the jurors who were in charge of making the difficult decision to choose the winners of the musical morning giving as winners the representatives of Liceo Cristiano de Guayaquil and IPAC, in the categories of Basic Secondary and High School, respectively.

Among applause, bars and a lot of joy the different schools supported their representatives who performed extraordinary presentations and stressed the importance of continuing to preserve the national music.

Pazmiño indicated that "This is just the beginning for them to continue studying and developing their voice". Likewise, Melissa Silva, Art Coordinator of La Moderna commented that the school's initiative to unite different schools to sing melodies of a genre as important as the Pasillo is remarkable for the preservation of Ecuadorian traditions.

The winners received musical instruments and one hour of recording time at Borkis.
