Historical Review

"La Moderna was founded in 1983 with the purpose of creating a bilingual school with a high academic standard and values.

This project arose with the beginning of the construction of the CELM building at km. 2 ½ on the road to Samborondón, which would house 34 graduating classes of graduates who have excelled in national and foreign universities due to their comprehensive bilingual education.

For its 39 years of work, CELM has been recognized with the Educational Merit Award by the National Congress, Ministry of Education, Provincial Directorate of Education, and the Government of Guayas.

In the current era of Ecuadorian education, priority is placed on policies that encourage participatory processes and provide opportunities for all members of the educational community to contribute to the development of an inclusive, dynamic, adaptable, and, above all, responsible and high-quality education.
