On July 7, in Quito, Ecuador, La Moderna was awarded the title of "Great Place to Work for Women." The school was ranked among the top ten best companies for women to work for nationally. This recognition was given after a comprehensive review by the entire staff.
Our great team thrives on gender equality, working together to support our vision and mission. The ranking resulted from an evaluation conducted by Great Place to Work® (GPTW), where gender equality indicators must have at least 90% acceptance, and the acceptance averages for men and women must not differ by more than 5%. The assessment considers the gender parity index, the organization's practices, and the representation of women in management positions.
This recognition was covered by EKOS magazine, which is one of the most important publications on ecological development and business leadership in Ecuador. Our school is pleased to receive such important recognition, given by Ms Carmen Gómez, GPTW Executive Director. La Moderna, part of International Schools Partnership, is within an important group of organizations such as DHL, Johnson & Johnson, 3M, Roche, and PWC.
