Patriotic and civic event in the framework of the celebration of the National Day of the Ecuadorian Flag.
The traditional Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag as every year, revives the respect and value for the patriotic symbols. On this occasion, the Ecuadorian flag plays a key role in teaching young people to love and respect Ecuador.
According to national and historical stipulations, III baccalaureate students exalted a great 'Si juro' full of commitment and responsibility for their nation. The ceremony began at 8:00 am with the entrance of the authorities, followed by the National Pavilion 2023-2024, led by young people of excellence.
Nicole Serrano, Standard Bearer of the National Pavilion: Luis Alfredo Enriquez, Standard Bearer of the Samborondon Flag and José Andrés Rodríguez, Standard Bearer of the School Flag, proudly represented together with their escorts: commitment and national respect. Outstanding students who throughout their educational trajectory have faithfully demonstrated that they fulfill the exceptional civic commitment in the development of young people capable of transforming Ecuador and the world.
Thus, 116 students of La Moderna's Class 36, accompanied by their families and friends, promised with fervent honor to defend the glorious tricolor to the unanimity of the musical march, thus highlighting the patriotic fulfillment.
Let's remember that it was on September 23, 1955 when a legislative decree was issued by the National Congress in which it was decided to declare September 26 of each year as National Flag Day and to hoist it as a mandatory historical celebration of Ecuador.
